Royal Enfield is soon to release the Classic 500 Pegasus Edition:
Adorned with the esteemed ‘Pegasus’ insignia, the Classic 500 Pegasus Edition bears testimony to the legendary ‘Flying Flea’ and stories of the men who rode it. Available in two colours Service Brown and Service Green, this commemorative model is being manufactured in a limited production run of just 1000 units.

From robust motorcycles built as mobile machine gun platforms during the First World War to the production of vital targeting components for anti-aircraft guns in an underground factory during the Second World War, Royal Enfield has been in direct service to the armed forces throughout its existence. This legacy continued when the legendary Royal Enfield Bullet went into service with the Indian Army in the early 1950s and was immediately deployed to some of the harshest and most testing terrain in the world. It still serves there today.

At the height of the Second World War, Royal Enfield made a resilient 125cc motorcycle designed to be deployed behind enemy lines via parachutes and onboard the Horsa Glider to provide communications support along with acting as a quick mobility platform for the forward units of the Airborne Pegasus Regiment, across key operations such as D-Day and Market Garden. Officially designated the ‘RE/WD 125’ it was more fondly recalled as ‘The Flying Flea’ by the men who rode it behind enemy lines, constantly under fire, lightly equipped and often facing the very best of the enemy.

The Royal Enfield brand continues to excite customers with a new lineup for 2018. Whilst everyone awaits the arrival of the 650 Twins, a big development for the Continental GT, Bullet 500 and Classic 500 range which includes the Redditch and Chrome, is the arrival of ABS that comes standard for 2018 models. These great looking post-war retro style motorcycles now have the added feature of not only taking you on a journey in style, but to also make sure you stop safely with Bosch ABS.

If requiring a greater choice of colours is what you are after in a motorcycle, the Classic range now comes in 15 colours, the latest being Gunmetal Grey and Stealth Black. Of course not forgetting the Bullet 500 that comes in three colours and Continental GT which comes in three great colours too.

There is no question Royal Enfield is one of the most unique and authentic motorcycles on the road today. Backed by a factory two year warranty and roadside assist, they are committed to stand by their motorcycles that have been delivered across the world since 1901.

Purpose built and adventure ready, the new 2018 Himalayan Sleet is now available for your next journey beyond roads, borders and boundaries that you dare to travel.

Now standard with Pirelli MT60 tyres, the award-winning adventure motorcycle will get you to your destination with even more confidence. Available in the original colours Granite and Snow, the new additional Sleet colour offers a unique livery that depicts the shades of the Himalayan mountain range from peak, summit and to the deep valleys below. The new Sleet livery matches perfectly with the new black finished fuel cap, bar ends, top triple clamp and bottom clamp.

LAMS approved, the Himalayan provides new riders, returning riders and those seeking a new adventure tourer with a dependable ride. And with 24 months warranty and 24 months Customer Care Program, the decision is made easier.
Himalayan accessories are available and panniers shown in pictures are an optional extra.

Royal Enfield launched the Himalayan — a motorcycle purpose-built for adventure and touring , at Melbourne Moto Expo 2016. Bringing together 60 years of Himalayan riding experiences in a completely ground-up design, and powered by a new LS 410 engine, the Royal Enfield Himalayan paves the way for a purer, non-extreme and more accessible form of adventure touring.

Since 1901. Not all that different today.

The Enfield’s character hasn’t been tinkered with in 115 years and counting. And there’s no mistaking what our machines sound like. Get a feel for our motorcycles and purpose-built gear at a Royal Enfield store near you.

In Australia and New Zealand you now have the choice of buying a Classic 350 in Lagoon, White, Black, Mint or Chestnut for the price of $6,490 (Ride-away) in Australia and $5,990 (plus ORC) in New Zealand. The bike comes with a two year warranty and two year roadside assistance (Australia only).

Royal Enfield distinguishes their Classic 350 ‘Retro Street’ range even further with two distinctive new colours, ‘Chestnut’ and ‘Mint’, which capture the classic lines and features of this retro styled motorcycle. With chrome finishes everywhere you look, stainless steel spoked wheels and a comfortable sprung saddle, its hard not to admire this traditional motorcycle with its timeless appeal.

However, although traditional in appearance, at the heart of the Classic 350 sits a modern aluminium 346 cc, single cylinder, 4 stroke, twin-spark engine with electric start which delivers 19.8 hp at 5250 rpm and 28 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm. The smooth power delivery is helped by a five speed constant mesh transmission with wet multi plate clutch. The comfortable ride is managed by 35 mm front telescopic forks with 130 mm of travel and rear twin gas charged shock absorbers with 5-step adjustable pre-load. Braking is taken care of with a front 280 mm disc, 2-piston caliper / rear drum combination.

The Classic 350 comes standard with a pillion seat (not shown), along with two year roadside assistance (Australia only) and two year warranty.

Experience the Classic 350 by visiting a Royal Enfield dealership near you.
