Royal Enfield Donates a Continental GT 650 for a Good Cause

$700,000 raised at the 30th Anniversary Gala Ball for the RMHC.

On Friday 15th July, Royal Enfield Australia and Urban Moto Imports were able to donate a beautiful Continental GT 650 Mister Clean for the 30th Anniversary Gala Ball for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), raising $13,000 towards this great charity.

This is the 6th year that Royal Enfield and Urban Moto Imports have participated at such an important event, where money raised assists those families and individuals through difficult times.

“We’re grateful that we could assist in some way that can help children and families during some of their most difficult times. Our small contribution will hopefully help towards the incredible support that RMHC continue to provide, to those that need it most.”Joseph Elasmar, CEO Urban Moto Imports.

STAR STUDDED EVENT

The Victorian Gala Ball was hosted by Seven News Melbourne TV presenter and journalist, Rebecca Maddern, and VIC Ball Chairman, Barry Fitzgerald, and featured an electric performance from actor and singer-songwriter Rob Mills, with other special guests in attendance such as the Hon. Matthew Guy.

FOR A GOOD CAUSE

RMHC is an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing vital programs for families with seriously ill children. The money raised during the event will go towards:

  • Ronald McDonald House Monash, North Fitzroy & Parkville
  • Ronald McDonald Family Rooms at Monash Children’s Hospital, Wodonga Base Hospital, Northern Hospital & Sunshine Hospital
  • Ronald McDonald Learning Program

RMHC IN VICTORIA

Since opening their very first Ronald McDonald House in Victoria in 1986, their Chapter has expanded to provide essential services in Melbourne, regional Victoria and Hobart. They have supported sick children and their families for over 30 years. Through their accommodation and support services, they strive to keep families together when life gets turned upside down due to a child’s illness. Their Ronald McDonald Houses and Programs are run by a tirelessly hard working team of staff and volunteers, aided by the generous support of donors, sponsors and corporate partners.

The event was held at the Crown Palladium, with an evening of great entertainment and fine food. We are already planning the 31st Anniversary Ball where we can make another donation to the RMHC.
